We got great value for our money at Aves De Tierras Altas. The room was beautiful and the location was amazing, right next to a national park. The staff, Eliette and Mark, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing us with lots of local knowledge.

The only thing that could have made breakfast better is more variety in the menu, but overall it was still delicious.

The road leading to the lodge can be a bit bumpy, but the entire experience is well worth it.

The property's location, adjacent to a national park, provided stunning views of the valley and allowed us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the rainforest. The private casitas on stilts offered a unique experience of being surrounded by the trees and exotic birds. The modern and clean cabins, along with the delicious homemade breakfasts, added to the overall comfort and enjoyment of our stay. The proximity to a hanging bridge park and various hiking trails made exploring the rainforest incredibly accessible. We highly recommend this hotel for a truly unforgettable experience.

I had an exceptional rain forest experience at Aves De Tierras Altas. The brand new casitas were beautiful and provided a stunning view of the surrounding nature. Despite the weak wi-fi in the cabin, the hosts, Mark and Eliette, were so welcoming. They invited me to their house where the wi-fi was stronger and even treated me to coffee, beer, and homemade apple pie! Their knowledge of the local area, from restaurants to hiking trails, was incredibly helpful. I felt safe and immersed in the jungle, with exotic birds flying by right outside my casita. The breakfasts were delicious and enjoyed on the deck, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the rainforest. Just a short distance away, I explored the rainforest on a hike that led me to encounter a sloth. I highly recommend this relaxing paradise in the mountains, where nature and comfort meet.

I recently stayed at a breathtaking villa nestled in the lush surroundings of Bijagua. From the moment I stepped foot in the lodge, I was captivated by its stunning design and impeccable attention to detail. The modern decor and high-quality furnishings made me feel like I was in a luxurious studio apartment. The comfortable mattress and extra blankets ensured a restful night's sleep, while the spacious and immaculately clean bathroom added to the overall sense of luxury.

Although there were a few minor inconveniences, such as the water in the shower not getting overly hot and the cooktop taking a bit longer to prepare meals, these small issues did not detract from the overall perfection of my stay at Aves De Tierras Altas Villa.

The cabin we stayed in was cozy and inclusive for a family. It had modern facilities and beautiful hand-painted mural art on the walls. The kitchen was fully functional with everything we needed for cooking and eating. The private covered deck offered stunning views of a lush rainforest backyard and we were able to see incredible birds and other colorful animals from there. The breakfast delivered to our room was full of local delicacies and fresh fruits, giving us a taste of the local cuisine.

The short portion of the road leading to the property was packed dirt and gravel, which might be a little bumpy for some drivers. However, driving slowly was enough to make it without any issue.

The mattress was of great quality, the bathroom was spacious and spotless, and the whole place felt brand new. It was incredibly peaceful, and we had the opportunity to watch some incredible birds right from our terrace. The homemade breakfasts were absolutely delicious and generous. We can't thank the hosts enough for their warm welcome. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
